The Bingham

Erick Kervaon appointed The Luxury Group in 2015 to re-focus the in-house sales and events team of Bingham Riverhouse and introduce new corporate clients to the hotel.  Having always enjoyed a healthy corporate and wedding business, the sales team needed a new strategy as well as development of its talent to reach its full potential.

In those 3 years I worked closely with the sales team, not only to jointly exceed the revenue targets, but to deliver motivational coaching throughout the team structure to ensure harmony and positive results for the future. In 2016 we delivered 20% more than expected in sales and events, and 15% more in 2017 (circa £360k). I also improved the team’s conversion rate to 45%.

I continue to work on a retained basis with Bingham Riverhouse in a business development role, securing circa £45k – £60k corporate sales revenue p/a.

In 2018 I was brought on board by Bingham Riverhouse owner Samantha Trinder to help grow the revenue at sister property bhuti. This new business is a holistic wellbeing centre with Richmond’s first vegan cafe. During my appointment, I have developed a corporate membership sales strategy and pricing model to attract the mid-week market, brokered a national collaboration with Coutts Bank customers, and initiated brand partnerships with Sweaty Betty, the Lawn Tennis Association and Kew Gardens.
