Since acquiring the freehold of the magnificent Georgian house, known as Sudbrook Park, the membership committee of Richmond Golf Club appointed The Luxury Group to develop a sales strategy to introduce new clients to the property. The role has required diplomacy and sensitive communication to balance the needs of new clients with long standing members.

Over the past 2 years I have steadily grown the non-member revenue from zero to circa £60k p/a through a combination of corporate golf days, meetings, private dining and weddings. These bookings have been precisely woven into an already busy venue diary with success.

In addition to developing a successful relationship with a leading wedding listing company to provide new enquiries, and introducing new clients from my own database, I have created a range of marketing collateral including a wedding brochure, private dining brochure, menus, wedding and dining packages and have advised on pricing structures and yield management.

The Luxury Group has received positive feedback and repeat bookings already, as a financial media client explained: “I’d like to thank you for a great corporate golf day yesterday; my two clients really enjoyed themselves. They were very impressed at how the day ran, the quality of the food and drink, and of course the golf! Thank you very much to you and your team for making it a wonderful occasion.” A.R.
